Ballet Dancer – part one | Fraser Valley Portrait Photographer

I recently had the opportunity to photograph a personal project that I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. I’ve had the tulle skirt made for a while, all I needed was a ballet dancer to photograph! Then I saw a photo of Bailey practicing her moves at Project Dance. I was amazed and knew I had to photograph her. I have been lucky enough to photograph Bailey and her family for the last 4 years, and I have watched her grow into a beautiful and super talented young lady. Bailey you are truly amazing and I am honoured to have captured your talent.

I have so many photos that I love, I’ve split this into 3 posts!

Can I also say a big thank you to my amazing and wonderful friend Elizabeth who kindly let me use her soft box  and practiced the lighting set up with me, the images of us doing our best ballet poses were not pretty!! These are all using the hand painted backdrops that Elizabeth and I made. If you are a dancer I would love to photograph you! I am in awe of anyone who can move so beautifully. When you’re ready to book your session give me a call to discuss your perfect photoshoot.
