These decoupage easter eggs were the perfect addition to my Easter Table this year. They are so easy to make, and can be reused each year.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Paper Napkins that have a pretty design, with images that can easily be cut out.
- Faux Easter Eggs found at any dollar store or craft store (not plastic)
- Sharp scissors
- Matte finish Modge Podge Glue
- Small Paint brush
INSTRUCTIONS
First, separate the napkins layer to leave just the the thin layer with the printed image on it.
Then cut out the shapes or patterns from your paper napkins and layout.
Then using a paintbrush, brush on a small amount of glue onto the egg. Place one of the cut out designs on top of the glue and press down. Smooth out any wrinkles using your finger or the paintbrush. Add som extra glue over the top to secure it in place. Repeat around the egg until it’s covered as you like.
It’s as easy as that. They are so cute and they can be enjoyed for years to come. At the end of the Easter season I store them away in an old egg carton until the next year.
